Dear Chris,

I was listening to ‘Day on the Town’ and one of the lyrics go ‘chips on your shoulder, chips in your mouth.’ Then I remembered a scene in the film Take it or Leave it in which you put a chip on your shoulder which Suggs promptly eats.

I was wondering if that ever inspired it or not, Suggs eating chips off your shoulder. I’m sure it’s quite interesting in a way when one thinks about it.

I was saying “hey look! I’ve got a right chip on my shoulder”. This is a commonly used term by the way.
