Ok, the million dollar question… I’m the lead singer of a Madness Tribute Band called “More Madness” based in sunny ole Lowestoft, and for total stage effect i’m trying to obtain a few pairs of sunglasses that suggs wears. the sort i’m after are the pair he wears in the Baggy Trousers video and the ones he wears in the Uncle Sam video. Ive been on that there inter net thingy with no joy!

Could’nt do my Suggs impression, sounded more like Bonnie Tyler gargling salt water, and I feared for my life after my Guitarist removed his strings from his guitar and was fashioning them in a noose and laughing at me with and evil look on his face!!!

The ones in the “Baggy Trousers” [I think] were from a second hand shop in Tottenham Court Road in 1978 or sometime, the ones in the “Uncle Sam” video were from a stall in Japan, we all had them. So your best bet is Persol they make some similar to the Japanese ones but they cost about £200..
