My wife has been a huge Madness fan since first seeing you boys at the age of nine. She has seen you live on many occasions and introduced me to you live at Cork whilst we were on holiday in Ireland. When she found out about the Madness weekend at Butlins in Minehead earlier this year she bought tickets straight away. A week or two later and whilst planning our wedding she discovered that she had breast cancer and that a whole load of treatment would need to happen. We decided to carry on as normal and got married in September dodging around her chemotherapy treatment. We now have the surgery date and find it clashes with your Madness weekend at Butlins in Minehead 25th – 27th November and that we are unable to go. She is completely gutted as am I. As you boys will need to come right past my house in Totterdown, Bristol on the way to Minehead, and knowing that you do like a nice brew up, you may wish to call in for a cuppa to cheer Helen up. What do you reckon?
