THE BRITS

HI CHRIS

I AM VERY ANNOYED YET AGAIN THAT MADNESS DIDN’T GET NOMINATED FOR A BRIT AWARD.
I REMEMBER 1979 WHEN MADNESS FIRST BURST ONTO THE MUSIC SCENE WITH THEIR DEBUT SINGLE THE PRINCE.
THEY WERE HOT PROPERTY THE RECORD LABELS WERE CLAMBERING OVER ONE ANOTHER TO SIGN THEM UP.
THE MUSIC PRESS WERE PRAISING MADNESS’ MUSIC.

THIRTY TWO YEARS LATER & COUNTLESS CHARTED SINGLES HIT ALBUMS LOVED & ADORED BY THE PUBLIC & MOST OF ALL
MADNESS FANS.MADNESS ARE ONE OF THE MOST ENDURING LIKEABLE BANDS OF THEIR ERA NOT POMPUS BIG HEADED (LIKE TODAY’S SO CALLED POP STARS).

ONCE AGAIN THIS MUSICAL INSTITUTION CALLED MADNESS HAVE BEEN SNUBBED YET AGAIN BY THE MUSIC WORLD.

A VERY ANNOYED MADNESS FAN OF 32 YEARS.

ANDY

Don’t worry about it, Andy. I’m not.

Like most or all other Longevity Madness followers…This stinks….

30 years of brilliant song writing…I have been listening to Mad not Mad again recently…White Heat and Burning the Boats are Awesome tracks…could name loads of non single album tracks that show how good the different combination of songwriting are.

I honestly think the name Madness has gone against the band in regards to recognition…but then again, us fans are the only recognition the band needs

cant wait for the new album
