Thanks to all involved in Minehead.

I had my doubts, but the weekend surpassed expectations by a long way! A lot of hard work must have gone on to make it the success it was, not least Madness learning all the new songs.

Anyway, it was well worth my new personal best of getting up at 5am for a flight to Bristol from Newcastle!

If Butlins is repeated, I would recommend Ali Campbell as a potential act. I don’t know about all the politics with UB40 – but I can tell you he puts on a great show with his superb new backing band. He would go down a storm.

You should’ve got the train. Probably much more than a flight but pretty good way to get there. Although it’s a long way from Taunton station to Minehead. Thanks for persevering, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
