Joe was one of the good guys and given The Clash’s and yourselves Camden roots any interesting tales to regale mate?. Your paths must have crossed in pubs, studios etc… On a separate theme any chance of any racecourse gigs next summer my friend?

Sorry for the very late reply a sad day indeed Joe Strummer passing away. I was in a bar with Joe Strummer once.

He has got his arm round my girlfriend and Jerry is standing in the way as I look for her – what a rascal Joe was. I met Topper a few times and did a meet and greet with the great Mick Jones a couple of years ago.

I have said hello to Paul Simonon once or twice, funny enough he was after my girlfriend as well. Well – he was her ex.
