Be honest, you were 40 mins late getting on stage at Westonbirt on Sunday while myself and the missus were freezing our neds off waiting for our fave boyz to appear. Were you by any chance watching the football back stage? I made a choice to pay 70 notes to trek thro’ the mud and drive lots of miles to watch you perform over a free seat, in the warm, in front of my tele to watch England ‘play’. That said, I’d watch Madness perform any day of the week over football of any description and that’s quite something coming from me – I’m a professional football writer!!
