Hi Chris, Congrats on new album sounds quality as expected! Question is why are powder blue and black and blue bonus tracks ? To me they are two of the four best songs on the album, along with La Luna and I never knew your name ? Would you agree ??

You have impeccable taste. It was a right old to do and no mistake. First of all I wanted a 20 track album, which was never going to happen, as it seemed to be only me that wanted it. Then it was a 10 track album and we would release another “limited edition” album with 14 tracks on. Then that got the kibosh and it was a 10 track album with 4 “hidden” tracks ha ha..you still with me? Thommo came up with that one, as on “One Step Beyond” the song “Madness” was on it but not listed on the album cover. Back to “Oui Oui”…They then became “bonus” tracks, because you would have to write the 4 titles on the album cover surely? Or some of them..Oh modern marketing is just so frantic, my dear. Finally, to put the tin hat on it, one of the bonus tracks is a different version of “My Girl II”. Just wait for the deluxe version – that’ll be great fun.
