Chris,
As if it wasn’t bad enough with the National Westminster bank in the 1990’s stealing your ideas…..check out this little codger’s new DVD title…..I think it’s time to get Brighton’s top solicitor on the case and sue for copyright……..even if you just get a free DVD out of it (which I’ll buy off you for a tenner coz I think he is hilarious) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Michael-McIntyre-Showtime-DVD/dp/B004MEZP4Q/ref=pd_bxgy_d_h__img_b
Separate matter and marginally less tongue in cheek – You know all that stuff about as you get older you tend to loosen up on matters on which you had strong stances previously and all that blah dee blah……….well any chances of giving Going Solo to Madness one day? In urging you to change your mind, I’m trying to take the ‘Mistakes’ lyric “better to have loved than lost than not have loved at all” and change its wording to suit the relevance here…..eh something about better to have released it with the band it wasn’t intended for than not release it at all……Dust gathering is for vinyl releases not demos with great potential (and yeah I do have the demo – that and Raindance are great dark songs. The sax in the latter is of the highest order, the moodiest sax I have heard in a Madness or Crunch! tune)….. Go on I dare you to have the guts to compromise (token poor attempt at using reverse psychology to convince you, resulting in highly likely failure.)
Laters,
Vince Carden
Dear Vince
I’m saving it for a rainy day. Mr Mcintyre? ha!
