As I previously informed you, I had an operation to remove a tumour from my bowel back in October. I am pleased to inform you that I have made a very good recovery and my consulatant has released me from his clnic. The Cardiff gig was a great pick me up, after a very difficult time. Jamie also helped arrange for an extra two guests to come along, as I was unable to drive the distance myself. So thank you both from the bottom of my heart. All four of us had a really great evening!
Although we were disappointed at not getting to meet any of you at the bar afterwards. We waited for over an hour. I know you all had to be up and ready for the Brighton matinee the next day.
Your version of Delilah was absolutely brilliant and everyone sang along! Funnily enough, one of my guests is a Stoke City supporter and that is their song. So you absolutely made his day!
I would really appreciate it if you and the other band members could sign some autographs for me. As I never got to meet you all.
I hope that the tour is going well for you. My address is below if you could possibly arange for the autographs to be sent my way, it would be much appreciated.
By the way, you met a good friend of mine outside the Brighton venue, you may remember you remarked that she looked like Juliet Bravo in her hat!

What can I say? No? Come on, you got 4 guest tickets already! As far as I recall, we did not promise to meet you after the show. Nor did any of our management arrange for this service. Nothing to do with the Brighton show the next day and early to bed at all.The aftershow area is for the bands general guests. If I have any personal guests, I go and meet them there after the gig but I didn’t have any in Cardiff. I would say – do you want your money back? ha ha. Katy has been most kind, I’ll have a word with her about dishing out freebies. Most of us walked back to the hotel after the show. Some people wait outside for hours and still don’t get autographs – as you can see in a message below. I cannot get the band’s autographs and send them to you, I’m afraid.
