Hi CB,
Was at the Dublin gig and really enjoy myself,MADNESS never seem to fail,on this ocassion i brought two friends to see MADNESS,and as the norm we went and had a few pints before hand then to the gig.Well we arrived at the 02 and headed for the doors and one friend said hold on i have to get something around here,so around we went and all of sudden we find ourselfs at the guess list entrance,so i turned around and one of my friends was talking to somebody of importance that would let you through the VIP entrance,Well to my suprise my friend arrange for VIP passes with achance of meeting the band after the gig through his contacts (the script ),i couldn’t wait for this chance as a big MADNESS FAN,i was taken back with the suprise as you could imagine,i was stuck for words,anyway we never got the chance to meet the band although we were at the after show party.
As a fan, was i disappionted?of course i was.
But so close to meeting my idols after so many years was missed, don’t get me wrong CB these things happen for areason and maybe i will meet your good self and the band sometime.
But i was delighted with that chance in it self and thanks to my good friends for that chance.
