Hi Chrissy Boy and all you lovely Nutty Boys……. I have got a big enormous favour to ask you. My best buddie Ruth and I met exactly 30!!!! years ago standing outside the queue of the Apollo Theater in Glasgow. We were 14 at the time and I tapped her on the back to ask where she got her madness patch on the back of her jacket. Since then we’ve been great pals and are still mad about you guys. I now live in Munich and Ruth’s in London. We both wanted to go the Butlins together to celebrate our 30th anniversary but I can’t make it. So, PLEASE!!!!!! could you maybe make a small mention (a big one would be great as well haha)and say that Audrey would love to be there with her. I came over especially for Madstock and absolutly loved it. What a brilliant atmosphere!!! Hope you all have a brilliant time ! which no doubt you will. I love stories like that, there’s so much in it. You liked her patch and you have been friends for 30 years. The sentimental fool in me just cries. Suppose you didn’t like her patch – what would’ve happened? I doubt if I could’ve accommodated you anyway, I had so much on my mind. Here’s a promise: If you can make it to Butlins next time, I’ll put you on my guest list.
