Awesome concert and TOTALLY worth flying from Denver to San Diego for the night. The Humphreys venue was perfect for my first Madness concert. Small intimate place and a fourth row “seat.” I was right in front of you and Lee. I am still hoping you post a video from the axe-cam 😉
Icing on the cake was the next morning coming back to the hotel to catch my shuttle to the airport. I was dumbfounded to find all the Nutty Boys (save Chris) out front waiting for THEIR shuttle. I had the TIME OF MY LIFE meeting these guys that I had only seen in videos for the past 30 years. (The younger guys in the brass section too.) Your mates were all so willing to give time to a fan and they could not have been more friendly. At the airport we ran into each other again. I wish I could apologize to Suggs for the hassle he had to deal with at the metal detectors :-p (made for a fun photo though)
Sorry I missed you Chris and I will be looking forward to meeting YOU after another concert!
