A belated happy new year to you. A while back I wrote to you about some of the alternate mixes out there that didn’t make the remasters and you suggested I contacted a fella at Union Square – which I did. He was good enough to give me a call back and have a chat about it and I got hold of some of the mixes for him. Did any of the band get to hear them for approval for the new compilation? Sadly it seems none of them were used 🙁

I don’t know what they were but one example of “wrong mixes” is “Mrs Hutchinson”. I think you mentioned that once. The thing is on the original “7” album the mix Mike wanted was not the one used, we eventually changed it many years later. So there is more to it than even you know. I think there was also something like that with “House of Fun” and “Los Palmas 7”.
