Are you not annoyed that your album is not ready for release to take advantage of your high profile gigs this summer. If sales of your back catalogue are anything to go by, you would almost be certain of a Number 1 album off the back of your appearance at the palace and forthcoming olympic appearance.

Interesting. As I am now able to look back on those two great events I can tell you that neither had much effect on sales of back catalogue or tour tickets. So as we were not playing anything new on the Palace or Olympics, I don’t think it would have helped a new album either. The tour at the moment is far more effective marketing tool..
