Hello to the greatest Britsish band of all time!

Hi,

I just wanted to say that I think you guys are fantastic and what a year it has been for Madness with the Jubilee Concert and the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games.
After seeing Suggs and the boys on TV, my 14 year daughter has even been inspired and asks me to slip a Madness CD into the CD player in the car.
She thiks Our House and Baggy Trousers sre great. But to me, the special song for me has to be Must Be Love. My wife and I went to see ‘An Audience With Suggs’ last February, in Swindon and we had a front row seat right up against the stage. What a fantastic night that was and I have not laughed so much before.
Anyway, I late found Deano(Dean Mumford), who plays the piano for Suggs and we got chatting, as you do. I told him about how my wife became disabled after a car crash 10 years ago and what we have ben through over the years. What Deano and Suggs did for us will stick in our minds forever.
Deano tore out the Must Be Love page from his own personal songbook (he assured me he knows all the songs off by heart) and he asked Suggs to sign it for us, which he did and wrote a personal message to my wife and I. How cool is that? What a fantastic guy Suggs is and of course Deano too!To take the time and trouble to do that for us. I had only asked Deano if he could get an autograph, I never expected a personalised songsheet. But that is what came in the post a few weeks later, along with a personal note from Deano. I have it mounted in a glass frame on my wall and it is one of my most treasured possessions.
I did try to win some tickets to the Jubilee Concert but wasn’t lucky enough to win those. So I instead watched that on tv. So Chrissy Boy, I am waffling on here and I haven’t even asked put a question to you yet. So here goes..
Which did you find the most thrilling, was it the Jubilee Concert or the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games?

PS Please say Hi to Suggs and the rest of the boys and thank Suggs again for what he did for us.

dear Steve
Suggs is a lovely chap isn’t he? The Jubilee was most enjoyable to do.
all the best, CB
