Oh what fun we had at the Our House show on Sunday night. It was really nice to see Lee and yourself had come out to support Suggs.
Having seen the show in London several times and on tour once I was not sure what to expect. Even with it’s slightly stripped back look from the original I did not think it lacked anything, proving what a great story with amazing songs and a superb cast of very talented performers can do.
I could not imagine what the show would have been like if Tameka Empson as Billie had not returned as she is the character and played it perfectly.
Also in need of a thumbs up is Matt Cross who played Reecey, I had seen him in the original a few times and seem to remember when we went to the final performance in 2003 he could not play the part due to a broken foot, so seeing him in the role one last time felt right as he for me is the ultimate Reecey.
The question has to be asked will the musical ever get the Mama Mia treatment and be made into a movie?

An “Our House” film gets discussed every now and then but really the musical wasn’t successful enough. Butlins was a laugh I must say, I hope you enjoyed it.
