Chris's Cupboard
Hello, it’s Chrissy Boy here. Send me a question and I'll do my best to answer it.
Unless it contains any of the following:
- When/where is the next gig? - Please see the gig section above.
- Can I get your autographs?- This service is not available via the website, all applications must be made in person.
- Can I get backstage passes? - No.
- Will there ever be another 2Tone tour? - This is not very likely, is it?
- Where does Suggs get his sunglasses? – Persol.
- Where do you get your suits/hats/shoes? Gresham Blake, The Saturday Club, Hackett, Christies, Loake, Lock and Co, The British Boot Company.
- When is the “The Madness” album being re released? – I have still not got a clue.
[The questions above will be rinsed, filtered, processed and finally deleted by our new “Timewaster (tm)” interface, leaving me more time to answer the really important ones].
Thanks CB x

Hello Chris, I enjoy your guitar playing in madness and I just wondered if you had any guitar heroes who influenced you into playing the guitar. It is very enjoyable what you do as everthing seems to be in the right place at the right time. Thankyou very much Chris.
Dear Paul
Hmm Wilko Johnson, Angus Young, Chuck Berry, Duane Eddy, Ernest Ranglin it goes on and on..

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am contacting you, because as project manager at the Center of Educational Resources of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation of Belgium, I am currently working on the design of learning sequences intended for E-learning (distance education) and social promotion (courses for adults).
I am asking you, because I wish to use cultural and educational material on different media for non-commercial educational purposes to illustrate course modules that we create. In this regard, the video on your YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXuvdeEC5y8) caught my attention. We would like to use it in an English lesson about vocabulary related to the house.
The course modules that we create are on a Moodle educational platform to which learners have access with Login and password. We do not act for a commercial purpose, but rather in the context of sharing educational resources through the various educational establishments of the Federation Wallonia Brussels.
We would like to benefit from an agreement in order to be in order at the regulatory level.
To do this, would you agree to the copyright on the educational and non-commercial use of these video? If so, how would you like us to reference it?
Thank you very much for reading me.
Hoping for a positive response, I wish you a great day.
Dear Gregory
Can you contact our management. The details are on the main page of the site, bottom right. It should be ok, I think.
Best, CB
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately all my messages are rejected. An idea?
Dear Gregory
I’m sorry about that I’ll look into it.

Hi, I have tickets for your gig in Dubai, originally scheduled for 5 March 2020 and then rescheduled for 12 November 2020, Is the gig going ahead? It is not listed on your website.
Dear Chris
That one keeps getting cancelled and moved, sorry
best, CB
Hi there, is the concert in the Murcia bullring from May 2020 going to be rescheduled?
Dear Mike
Yep but no news yet.
CB
Hi, our society “Southport Spotlights” is performing “Our House” next year – COVID allowing. This is the second time we’ve done this great show. I try to do publicity for our group. Is there any way you can send us a “good luck” message for the cast and production team?
Dear Andy
Of course. Break a leg as we say..
best, CB
Will you guys ever play in philadelphia or atlantic city ?
Dear Charles
I hope so!
best, CB
I notice that “Wings of a Dove” is missing from your song list.
Dear Sandra
We change our setlist from time to time and we are blessed with lots of hits, so some of them get dropped every now and then for our sanity, as much as just refreshing things.
yours, CB
Hi there
I tried to book tickets for nov 2021 but it takes me to a cancellation notice
Please advise thank you
Dear Jo
Things are a little crazy at the moment and we have moved shows to this year but we still don’t know when live music will come back..

Hey! Hope all’s well. I am a veteran fan! I have loved madness since the age of 16 from the moment I heard you. I’m wacky and quirky so it was inevitable I would follow you. Also, I am originally(before moving to London) from Coventry and went to school there. Coventry of course being the home of two tone and many scar bands. What a great era!!I have been to many of your gigs and many scar festivals.I received the book ‘before we was we’. It’s so interesting and amusing. I love the short. individual stories. I only just viewed the ‘our house’ video made by the public and sooo envious I did’t know about it at the time.I would have loved to star in that playing my sax! I remember being right at the front at the Barclaycard arena in Birmingham and our house was playing and I was doing the moves before a crowd pushed their way towards me in their ‘happy, drunken state’ and knocked me to the floor. I will never forget the rush of security guards come to my aid. I laughed it off and said I was not going to leave the front. Please. please if you ever ask the fans to replicate another song (house of fun)PLEASE let me know. Thank you! Also i have been trying for a long time to subscribe to news letter but error comes up so i gave up.
Take care. Freya x
Dear Freya
Yes I think we’ll do that again. BTW it’s SKA loz
best, CB X
Hi. Please can you help? I know this is a huge ask but I’m trying to contact Madness or their agent?
I have a 3yr olds birthday coming up and he is absolutely obsessed with you guys!
Constantly playing singing and dancing to your songs!
Would there be any chance of a short video message?
I know the guys are extremely busy and I’m sorry to bother you but this really would be amazing.
Many thanks
Dear Neil
Our management and agency details are on this site. Bottom of main page on the right. Please check and let me know how you get on.

Hey Chris.
So waiting for the new album….!!
But before, please give us good news like Madness ‘Before & After’documentary will be avalaible in the Madstore on DVD / Bluray (or it would be a great idea to include it on the future Deluxe Boxset which, I’m hope, you may have in your mind!).
Have a great day.
All the best from France
Steve
Dear Steve
We don’t own it..yet..I think we get the rights back at some point though, so we would do something like that for sure.
best, CB
Hi Chris, does Madness plan on releasing its music videos in high definition blu ray format?
I have all your dvd’s but would like to see them in high definition with high definition sound too.
Thanks Robert
Dear Robert
We could tweak the sound but hmm the videos.. a lot of those videos we don’t even have the film anymore.
Best, CB
Hi can you tell me if yous are still playing in Dubai in November
Thanks
Dear Carron
Sadly not..but we will come one of these days.
best, CB
Hi Chris
What brought you into music & how did you get involved in the band.
Der Ellen
I bought a guitar in 1976 that Lee had seen in a second hand shop. Then taught myself how to play it. Still learning!
best, CB
My partner comes to a gig every year to see you guys with a group of mates, jolly boys outing !!
Over the years he collected and cherished fabric wristbands purchased each visit. He is just going in for heart bypass surgery and had to cut them off… gutted he is, can I get replacements
Dear Sarah
I hope he was ok. I don’t think we keep those sort of things though. Sorry for the delay in replying
best, CB
Oh sorry also meant to ask, if this has not already been asked(sorry if it has)Is there a DVD release of The liberty of Norton folgate?, thoughthe concept was excellent
Dear David
You know what? I don’t know what happened to it. We made a 64 minute film but err I don;t know if it ever got a DVD release..I’ll have a look.
best, CB
Hi,I have been a fan since whenever I can remember, I do music and production myself, just for fun. I always liked Mad not Mad Albumn, but thought as you all probably did, it was over produced, would you evr consider re- producing this, if you have the original recordings. Could I have a go, if you would consider it?:)
Cheers
David
Dear David
A lot of those songs need re recording totally. The original recordings blimey where are they. They were digital though, hmm..
best, CB
Hi Chris, hope you are well? I am having a “discussion”
with a few guys about whether Madness played at Ruffles in Aberdeen on Nov 13th 1979 as part of the
Two Tone tour? I remember you that night, but some people are saying you didn’t! Please confirm for me ,just to satisfy my aging brain!
Cheers.
Ian.
Dear Ian
If the 2Tone tour was there that night, then so were we but we did leave the tour around then. Which doesn’t answer anything does it? Well i just usesd this thing called Google haha and yes we did play there. https://concerts.fandom.com/wiki/Madness_Concerts_1970s
Next night was Ayr Pavilion and then we left the 2Tone tour..
best CB
Hello,
It’s my dads 50th on Friday and I have my fingers crossed that we could possibly have a video message. We are happy to pay! I’ve been brought up listening to your music and we’ve been to so many of your concerts & I even framed a towel you all give me! Please let me know if you are able to do this for us. It will honestly make his dreams come true! X
Dear Katie
Sorrt I missed this, I hope he had a good time anyway.

Mate – How could I get a new song to the lads for their approval? AK
Dear Alex
Send it to our management.
good luck, CB
Hey Chris, quick question,
Was there not a history section of this website? There used to be one on the old site and I believe it was included here, but doesn’t appear to be around anymore. I still enjoy the old story of the band’s tribulations of getting to a German studio, Suggs missing flights while asleep at home, you losing a passport…I can’t remember it all. That section was chronologically fun as a kind of story about the band.
I saw a documentary of the Go-Go’s, delighted to see Madness very specifically mentioned, lots of pictures – and even Thommo showing up in interview early on. Sweet recognition. Your shared early history together is nice, I like the Go-Go’s a lot.
Keep well.
RC
Dear Red
Hope you’re well. I think the old site may be around somewhere but hey I don’t know where it is, sorry. Go Gos were a great band and great fun to hang out with.
Sorry for the delay in replying

Hi Chris,
I’m seeking some assistance plse. My colleague whose been a police office for 25yrs is retiring next month, now he’s very much into SKAR & it’s memorabilia & from help via his wife one of his idols is of course Madness/Suggs.
I’ve been given the enviable task of trying to see what his colleagues can get him as a retirement present – So are you able to advise me where we can maybe get an actual autographed photo of Suggs as a gift.
Kind Regards,
Chris Messett (also a cop)
Dear Chris
I’m sorry I missed this..
yours, CB
Ok, I am so obsessed with you guys. I can’t believe none of your music was released in America. I am JUST NOW discovering your music!! and I am so MAD we were deprived of such real musical talent for 40 years!!! I recently became reintroduced to MADNESS through YOUTUBE when I was listening to It Must Be Love…the next song in the queue was Forever Young, then Never Knew Your Name. I was HOOKED!!! I love the bass and how it sounded in my car and could NOT believe it was the Our House people!!
FFW four months later, I can’t stop listening to your music. My favorite album so far is Absolutely.
Here’s my question: Can you re-release all your music in America and pretend it is a NEW release!!?? Why did we get left out? What happened?
You won’t believe this when I say it’s almost equivalent to not ever having heard the Beatles. Imagine going 40 years without ever having laid ears on them?
I’m probably going through a mid-life crisis now (just turned 50), but I still know good music when I hear it.
I’m so sorry America wasn’t around for you. But, I am very happy to see ya’ll are still at it. Extremely pleased that you even tried to come to America this year (damned Covid!!!)
Dear Erika
Hey, I hope we get there sometime this year..

Hey there, in this time of mask wearing, can I create one with your logo on it or are images still under copyright. Thank you and stay safe
Dear Cally
I hope you did it!

Hi Chris
I don’t normally do this and no offense if you don’t respond. I have a close friend who has built a large widebeam boat moored in Essex and he has called it Madness (He is a die hard fan) He has a birthday coming up and I would like to get him something madness related for his boat, a signed picture or something along those lines. If this is something you could help with it would be amazing, if not I completely understand. Thanks Anthony
Dear Anthony
Sorry for the delay, please get back in touch and I’ll try to sort something.

Hi my wife is a nurse on a covid ward in Leicester and she has recently recovered from the virus herself, we are both big fans and have been to a few gigs over the years, its a big ask but would any of the band members be up for doing something or maybe a call as I know this would give her a big lift.

Hi Chris, my best friends were due to marry Saturday 8th August (Annemarie Mcevoy & Paul (Suggs) Connolly) which due to current circumstances has been cancelled until next year, their entire wedding is madness themed, they both never miss Minehead (which I’ve also now been and thoroughly enjoyed) trying to organise something for the date they were due to marry, so it doesn’t pass unnoticed, I know it’s a big ask but a message from yourselves would be an amazing gesture and make the date a memorable one.
Thanks in advance for your consideration, hope everyone is keeping well in these frightening and uncertain times.
Kind regards
Kelly mc Knight
Dear Kelly
Well firstly – I’m sorry that I’m very late in replying but what a date 8th August – my birthday! What’s happened, did they get married? If so send my best wishes. If not, stay in touch

40 years, and still going….still creating…longer than any band I know. Even longer than the Beatles! Longer than Pink Floyd. Than Van Halen. Iron Maiden. You get my point. It’s astounding when you think about it. Out of 7 billion people on earth, you all rose to the top and are still banging out hits. What percentage of humans is that? Some mathematician said that about .0086% of people are famous. That means, almost no one is famous. That is remarkable. Most people are NOT famous. However, have you seen your audiences!??? They’re massive! You are loved! You are successful! You did it! Knowing all of this, how do you stay grounded? Most importantly, how do you come up with new songs? I can’t even stop singing the songs I hear on the radio, much less create a new tune in my head. You guys ROCK!!!
Dear Erika
Thanks for the praise. We just keep thinking them up really. I’ve got quite few ready to go asap..
best, CB
Ello! I’m trying to get hold of an email, so I can ask a question but privately not for everyone to see….
Any email that I could use?
Thank you x
Dear Emily
this one. I’m the only person that reads these.

I’ve been a fan of Madness since Baggy Trousers. As a kid from Ohio, I had to work to find your music back then!
I now have a marketing/training business that uses a podcast to stay in touch with past students.
I’d like to inquire about licensing the right to use “The Communicator” in my intro/outro.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration! I’m so happy to see that the band is still going strong!
-Matt
P.S. I don’t have a big audience, I have the right audience.
Dear Matt
as long as it’s not some major online thing – hey do it! Many apologies for the delay..

Dear Chris,
Our Makaton choir (Is still learning) and we tried to sign Must be love, love, love to put into a film for a Couple celebrating 28 years of marriage who happen to have Down’s Syndrome. (We think they are the longest married couple with Down’s Syndrome)
My question is, how do we/can we get permission to use your music for that song? our singing is dire! and we would like to make something special for the lovely couple that we could possibly share online.
Hope you can help.
Best wishes,
Cristina.
Dear Cristina
I hope you learnt it and please feel free to use it as long as the film is for your use. I’m sure it’ll be fine, even if you put it on youtube. If you have already done that, then please send me the link and i’ll post it.
sorry for the delay in replying

Hi Chris,
Can you give me some advice on the Cologne gig?
Is it postponed?
It looks like it is but my German isn’t great.
I can’t seem to find a definitive answer anywhere and ticket provider has not been in contact.
All the best
Dear Chrissy
Please check the live shows page.
best, CB
Not sure if this has been addressed anywhere, but how did you all learn to play music? Do you all read sheet music, play by ear? Took lessons a kid or self-taught? If you played in your houses, did neighbors complain? Or is all of this addressed in your book “Before We….”?
Dear Erika
I learnt by playing along to stuff I liked and I had a chord book. Most of the band are self taught, really. Maybe a few lessons here and there. I think Mark can read music and Mike can a bit.
best CB
Hi Chris
Hope all is well
Have been listening to all the Madness remastered albums chronological ly and wow time has been very kind because they sound more relevant today than when they came out, fascinated by your guitar sound and wondered which amps/stomp boxes you used on the recordings?
Thanks in advance
Andrew
Dear Andrew
hmm First album Telecaster, Fender Twin Reverb, H&H Combo maybe an AC 30. Second album Fender Stratocaster maybe a Les Paul, same amps really. Third album same amps plus Boogie and maybe used a Les Paul plus Fenders. 4th Album same as third more or less..er 5th Album yep same old gear might have used a Marshall here and there actually on album 3. Since then, blimey it’s a right jamboree bag anything that’s around really plus Gretchs, Gibson SGs. Sorry. You’d think the more recent stuff I’d remember better – but it’s the other way round!
best, CB
I am so relieved to have avoided your Winetaster Interface
I was steered your way by Paul Putner, who is a fan of our work (it’s mutual)
We’re the guys behind the 2 comedy/music successes ‘Dear Mr Pop Star’ and ‘Dear Mr Kershaw’. A decade of utterly ridiculous letters to pop and punk legends deliberately getting completely the wrong end of the stick about their lyrics and work, with funny in-on-joke replies back.
Simply, we put together a RIDICULOUS letter completely misunderstanding a song -or making a very valid point as a smartass – and an artist replies with WHATEVER THEY WANT.. We are a small family with no hidden hand ..The majors said this was impossible so we said ”yes it is” and crowdfunded…twice
So..anyway..we have been writing punk letters for free and posting the replies online to cheer people up during lockdown, and as a result have been approached by a small but very nice publishing house with a view to putting out our 1st book (originally out in 2015) again with extra content. The idea was only floated on Thursday and we’ve already landed 10 extra contributors.. We have room for about 20-30, I reckon
If we are lucky enough to include you you’d be alongside new replies from Neville from The Specials (a killer retort), Television, Kula Shaker, Embrace, Dodgy, Lush, Jesus Jones, Dubstar, Rhoda and The Hoosiers plus existing – Rick Wakeman, Slade, Was Not Was, Del Amitri, Stereo MCs, Nik Kershaw, All About Eve, Pete Perrett, Frank Turner, Tom Robinson, Right Said Fred, Kim Wilde, Space, Saxon, The Piranhas, Yazz, Captain Sensible, Stiff Little Fingers, Tasmin Archer, The Undertones, Chris Difford, Smokie, Level 42, Fish, The Communards, Sailor, Dean Friedman, The Joboxers, The Steve Miller Band, Heaven 17, Gonzalez, Hayzi, Sique Sigue Sputnik, Eurythmics, The Adverts, Nick Beggs – Kajagoogoo, Chesney Hawkes, Danny Wilson, Tears For Fears, Vic Godard, Paul Heaton, The Divine Comedy, Living in A Box, Toto Coelo, Mansun, Billy Bragg, The Human League, Toyah, Department S, Sad Cafe, Thompson Twins, Republica, The Attractions, Jona Lewie, The Mock Turtles, It’s Immaterial, Icicle Works, Howard Jones, Public Image Limited, Anvil, The Alabama 3, The Inspiral Carpets, Flowered Up, Black Grape, The Korgis
We’d be honoured to include a funny reply if you’d be kind enough. As we are not going with a major this time either I’m not going to steer you wrong by telling you that we anticipate this to be a number one bestseller, but I can promise you that what we do is adored by 1,000s of people and brings a lot of joy
I’m happy to send you a free PDF of our last book so that you can see what others come back with, and we already have a very funny letter done from a few years ago
Let us know if you’re up for it!

Do you like cheese? If so, do you have a favourite cheese?
Dear Bronagh
I do. It all depends on the situation. Mozzarella is best for mozzarella and tomato salad, likewise feta is great wtih a Greek salad and so on. Favourite is good old boring cheddar for most things.

Hi Chrissy
Was wondering how/if a new album was coming along and when/if it’s likely to be released?

Dear Jamie
hmm. That difficult album got more difficult..
Hey Chrissy Boy – hope your all well 🙂 …… just wondering with all the zoom stuff you have been doing have you ever thought about doing a gig over zoom with you all ? 😉
Dear Ian
Funny you should say that, it has been suggested but not Zoom. Keep checking the website.

Dear Chrissy Boy
My name is Astrid Meier, I’m 17 years old and I live in Herisau, Switzerland. I go to the “Fachmittelschule (FMS)” in Trogen. The FMS is a high school that will prepare me for teacher training college. Currently I have to write a paper about a topic of my own choice. I love music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and I especially love the music of the band Madness. So, I decided to write my paper about Madness and Ska. You’re a very interesting Band and I wish I could learn more about you. But the best facts and stories about Madness I can only get from the band members itself. So, I thought I’d try and write to you, Chrissy, to get some information, stories and answers to my questions.
It would be really helpful to write my paper, if you and others of the band would take some time to answer my questions.
I also wanted to tell you that I love your music very much and your songs make me always very happy when I listen to them.
Thank you very much for taking your time to read my message and to answer my questions!
My Questions
Dear Astrid thanks for the questions here’s my answers.
CB x
1.Did you have any bands as idols? Did any other bands influence your music?
Kilburn and the High Roads Ian Durys first band, definite influence. Also Sensational Alex Harvey Band plus Roxy Music, Motown, old Reggae, Elvis as very mixed bag, really
Kilburns https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39bhjv5dN8Y Alex Harvey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqx5j-FuqeI
2.How did you get into the music direction ska?
Well we were playing music we liked all the old classics rock n’ roll and so on and Suggs bought a copy of “Madness” to a rehearsal and we thought hey no one plays this any more so we started playing a few ska songs ad also writing our own music
3.How would you define the “Nutty Sound”?
In one song..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys5DtvuOvB8
4.How important is (or was) music in your life? What does music mean to you personally?
As a young chap, I loved music, going to see bands and so on. I still listen to music of course and every now and then I hear something inspiring.
5.Who developed the ideas for all the funny music videos and are there any meanings behind them?
A lot of them [in fact most of them] it was Lee and myself. There are a few obscure things but sometimes we’d all think of a theme and work on that.
6.Are there special or important meanings behind some of the song lyrics? Was there anything you wanted to achieve or change with them in our society?
I don’t really write many of the lyrics but of course I know what a lot of the songs are about. A lot of them are observational, rather than preaching.
7.Was everyone involved in the song-writing?
We all work on songs together. We split the royalties between the actual songwriters and the 7 [currently 6] members, which is fair as everyone brings something to the table, as it were.
8.How did you experience the development of music consumption in our society from the beginning of your band-career until now? What’s your opinion about it? (The development from buying records to now download music for free)
Early on in our career we made money from record sales. We toured a lot but it wasn’t that financially rewarding haha. These days it’s the other way round. Streaming is here to stay but the artists earns far less per actual play or stream than in traditional airplay royalties.
9.Does the fact, that in these days most people are downloading their music for free have any impact on you and the income as a band?
[See above]
10.What’s in your opinion something really important or interesting to know about Madness?
You got me there!
And some current questions:
11.How has Corona affected the Band?
Well, we haven’t played live since January so that’s a bit of a pain to say the least. We had a lot of stuff this year and it’s been blown out.
12.Did Corona influence the contact among you band-members? Did you have the possibility to make music together?
I’ve sent songs to Lee but I haven’t seen any of the band apart from Lee. Our contact is not that good anyway, at the best of times.
This is an invitation to all of madness. Next time you play in Portsmouth you are welcome to use my quiet back garden to chill out food and booze included
Dear Rae
Thank you kindly
CB
Hi Chris
Hope you are well.
My question, is there a definitive website that lists all previous madness gigs.
I’m trying to remember when I saw you in Edinburgh in 1983?
My first time was Dundee 1981.
Google tells me you played Edinburgh on March 9th 1983, which would have been my 16th birthday. I definitely saw you in 83 in Edinburgh with Joe boxer’s…….just don’t remember it being my 16th. Was a traumatic time in my life for one reason or another….. and just wondering if I’ve wiped it out that it was my birthday.
Cheers
Ross.
Dear Ross
There are a few but they always have stuff missing. I just searched “Madness live history” and got this
https://www.concertarchives.org/bands/madness?page=5#concert-table
loads missing!
CB
are you guys white supremacists?
Dear Elizabetth
No, of course not! Except me, I’m a Neo Nasty.
CB
Hiya,
Please answer me!!!
This might sound crazy but here we go.
My mums 50th is next year and we are having a party. You are her favourite band since she was a kid. Suggs actually gave her a hug and called her a little cutie, I can’t even count how many times she’s told me that story. Every time we have a drink madness is played and she’s teaching me every word to every song possible. Is it even possible to get you to play at her party next year? We are in eastbourne & it’s in July. If this is even possible please please could you let me know much and if you can.
I know she would be shaking at her knee’s if I got this surprise for her.
Thank you so much!!!
Katie
Dear Katie
Oh we can’t do that, everyone will want us to! Great Mum you’ve got there, though. How many times do you have a drink, by the way? We have a lot of songs lolz
CB X
Also surprised me that despite making fame in such a multi cultural city, from a style of music based off of reggae that you’ve made no comment on the protests so far?
Dear Bradley
We are not playing live at the moment and if we were, we might make some reference to BLM. We changed the website to an all black profile on the 2nd of June.
CB
hi, just wondering your stance on the black live matter protests?
Thanks,
Brad
Dear Bradley
Oh I’m totally against it. I flew a plane over the Burnley ground, you may have heard about it. Sorry that was a stupid joke. I support it totally. Some people say “white lives matter” but they are missing the point.
CB
Hi, just wondering if you can help me. My dad is a mad fan and I grew up listening to my dad play your music. This week my Dad (Ben) found out he has 6-12 months left to live after being diagnosed with a rare Nasal Cancer in February 2020.
This news has shook our world but I am hoping to give him the best time whatever he may have left. He’s only 48 and whilst he’s fine in himself for now after just finishing radiotherapy this will change quickly.
Is there anything you could do for him please as I don’t think he’ll see you play again?
Thank you for your time
Kelly x
Dear Kelly
I’m so sorry to hear this. I will see if we can send anything and if he is OK to travel and go out when we eventually resurface, I’ll sort you all tickets to see us.
love CB X
Hiya I know this is a long shot but for years my mum has loved madness . Last year for her birthday I took her to Doncaster race course show but this year nothing is on. Her birthday is on the 1st July and is her big 50th so I wondered if you could do a video saying happy birthday. I know you probably won’t be able to but I just wanted to give her the best birthday.
Dear Elle

I don’t know how to ask this question without sounding uninformed, but has Amazon and other music streaming businesses made it difficult for you to make money with music anymore? I really hope you tour more because you all deserve better.
Dear Erika
That’s nice of you. Streaming is quite a thing and if you get enough streams then you make money but it’s not like good old physical sales.
We make most of our income from live shows these days but hey I can’t complain.
